I have two SA 1911 guns that I am considering changing the sights. :

1) The Custom Pro gun is the best in class, but their night sights suck, at least for me.

2) SA Lipsey edition 9mm 1911. I just want to change the front sight on this gun, Im fine with the rear. Front is a fiber optic that Im not crazy about this particular one.

Are the Springfield's any different from any other 1911 ?
I like blacked out rear sights and the front sight I want the bold white dot with NS inside. Possible orange front.

Guys I have the Trij HD's on my TRP, so I don't want to do that again on these guns. FYI

Anybody help a brother out?

Oh yeah.

Contact Dawson precision, ask for a tech.
Tell them what you have, what you want.
They'll hook you up with the proper sight/dovetail.
You will need to let them know what height FS you need.
They can and will fab a non standard height if necessary for nominal cost.

(I'm not familiar with the SA guns, but the FS dovetail will either be a Novak or Heinie.)

I bought some sights off Brownells and love them. Markm measure them perfectly and my other gunsmith taped them in perfectly. Big outlined with dot and tritium inner.

Bingo

God is good.
