Somewhere among my souvenirs is my diploma from MSU, 1965. Haven't been anywhere near the place in the half-century since, and now I know why.
My father dumped a ton of overtime money into my "education" there, and all he got was me finally out of the house for his efforts. At least in later years I apologized to him for being such a worthless slacker. But neither of us thought it would ever be THIS bad...
