I am putting an X 400 on my 92G but I am concerned that the DG switch may not fit the hooked trigger guard.

Well, using my GoogleFu, it looks like the DG-20 is the one that will work with the M9A1 style frame. It says it fits the 96 Vertec which is essentially the M9A1 frame minus the hump. http://www.surefire.com/dg-remote-tailcap-switch-x-series.html
