Hey guys,

I've been mulling over some questions the last month so I might post a few different threads today.

First, do you guys recommend 1 or 2 dimples on the barrel?

I picked up a .460 and .420 dimple jig from BRD, but also have a BA gas block spaced at .500 (which I would have to use one dimple for).

Thanks!

One dimple across from the gas port will accurately locate any set screw gas block.

It is universal and will still work if the gas block is later changed to a different style.

So no benefit for a second dimple?

The second dimple does have a slight benefit, but it comes with several drawbacks.

One such drawback:

So really the only downside is not being able to switch to a different style of GB in the future?

I feel stupid getting two different spacing BRD jigs.
