I looked at a Smith and Wesson MP15T recently and saw it did NOT have the M16 carrier like The Chart indicates it does. It was the "enhanced" AR15 carrier. Did S&W change this or do they use each?

Thanks.

Dan

It was the "enhanced" AR15 carrier.
It has been that way for a while, a year at least, based on the ones I have seen.

I also have an M&P 15T, S/N 70xxx... I always thought mine was an M16 carrier, since the firing pin is guarded from the bottom. What's the difference between an "enhanced" carrier and an M16 carrier? Sorry, don't mean to hi-jack your thread..
