While going through some boxes I found I had a Colt Factory 4 position collapsible stock. I am guessing I purchased this sometime in the early to mid 1990’s. Would this be mil stock and what are these worth? It is new and has never been installed.

I also have a Brownells AR-15/M16 Carbine Spanner Wrench. I must have purchased this at the same time, but is no longer offered by Brownells. It appears this wrench is intended for the earlier designed lock nut.

Here is what Specialized Armament is selling them for. > http://www.specializedarmament.com/%E2%80%94-buttstock-sliding-%C2%B7-carbine/buttstock-kit-carbine-m4-type-i/

Edit: I just realized that you have the old style nut and not the new style as included with the one in my link... So, technically you could charge more.

What I learned over on ARFCOM is that this is a Colt N stock that was the correct stock for an early M4 or M4A1.

Right that is a retro stock also used on the later XM177, the same set up with a type II stock is $200.

Elmore has always seemed to have the highest prices in the Colt world.

I was not trying to sell here. I was just looking for information.

When someone says PM me, and you say let me consider your offer, that sounds a lot like a sale going on. I hid those posts, but I can still see them.

We're done here.
