I think you're going to need to be a little more specific, perhaps starting with WTF are you talking about.

There's nothing special about that lower except for a cool rollmark. The expensive KAC lowers are the ambidextrous model.

Price wise, it's not a bad deal if you add up the parts.

Looks like it has a Geissele trigger, msrp +/- $200
The lower (any "high end roll marked" forged lower) +/- $100
LPK $30-$80 (depending. Is it a factory assembled lower? Not with cmmg parts.)
Buffer, tube, stock, grip...$xx

So, yeah, it's probably about $400 worth of parts (assuming those are the parts you want. If you ~don't~ want an SSA, or a magpul grip/stock, then why pay for them?)
Screaming deal? Nah.
You could certainly put a quality lower together for a bit less.
You could do worse, though.

(Edit: the list of tags/keywords on the listing is bizarrely inclusive. There's probably a less sketchy place to buy guns from than "Backpage". Just sayin..."keywords: fast and furious, batfe, cartel, straw purchase, stolen, sketchy, dark alleys")

Ahhhh, that makes a little more sense with the link. $400 seems about right when you add it all up as posted above for new parts. I would be a bit wary with the tag lines, at least bring a friend, or better yet, meet at a police station parking lot to buy it. Personally, I would offer $300.

It's NOT KAC anything. It's a Franken Rifle lower. 250-300 max if I couldn't find anything else.

Several here just paid $200 for the same KAC lowers, the Geissele trigger goes for $240. Add up the other pieces parts and I would say yes, it is worth it. JMO

I'm not sure what you mean. The primary component of a lower receiver group is the lower receiver itself, and in this case, it is from KAC. The safety is KAC, trigger is Geissele, and the furniture is Magpul. Overall, while I agree it isn't a complete KAC build, it appears to be high quality components and the lower is still KAC.

Statement made based on seller's ad heading. "$400, Knights armament lower" Maybe the key component is KAC but it isn't a KAC lower and never will be. Even if the builder assembled the lower with 100% Knight's parts it's still a kitchen table build in my opinion. Nothing wrong with doing what he did just don't market it as a KAC lower.

It is still a KAC lower, it isn’t a KAC lower receiver group.
