I've been told that LMT does NOT use a F maked front sight base, but that their fonst sight blade reaches mil-spec height? So how soes that work? Do they use a longer front sight blade?

LMT doesn't make A2 or A1 uppers so their FSBs are not *marked* "F"

they don't need to mark them, because they don't have any other FSBs to distinguish from. they are all F-height.

its sort of like how British SS109 ammo is not marked with a green tip. the brits never used M193, so there is no reason for them to mark the penetrator ammo with green paint.
