View Full Version : What 'drop-in' barrel for shooting lead reloads in my G19 and G22?

I am looking to get some conventional-rifling barrels for both my G19 and G22, purely for shooting lead bullets. I'm not looking to magically shrink my groups or anything like that. ;)

Match-accuracy is not a concern, whereas I DO want barrels that will literally drop-in and work. It seems that fitting a Glock barrel isn't very complicated, but I have a MC Operator recuperating at a skilled smiths after I gunsmithed the living heck out of it, so I want to make sure that whatever I buy will just drop in, even if that means lessened accuracy or whatever.

Shopping around, it looks like only Lone Wolf advertises as true 'Drop In', while others seem to be some variation of 'Semi-Drop in/some gunsmithing required?' Is LW 'good enough'? What barrels have you had drop-in luck with?

A friend of mine put a Lone Wolf in his G-19. It took a bit of break-in, but it works great with everything he feeds it now.

+1 Lonewolf for lead re-laods.

I highly recommend KKM barrels for Glocks when needing conventional rifling.
