Thanks! I also have a S&W Extreme Ops Tactical Folder knife. It is the American Tanto Style 4" blade, it also has a EXOP Sheath, that is black canvase and has MOLLE attachments.
This is one of those, ask only if you need things... would like it to go to a Police man or soldier...

If one of your 1911 parts is a guide rod for a full size, I am in need of one!
I don't have anything worth a whole lot but a few cheap items that I switched out that someone might be able to use, I have 9 mag base plates, 9 green USGI mag followers, bulldog elastic 6 rd. buttstock shotshell holder, OD miad 4 rd. core, A2 grip, cheapo one piece leapers 1" one piece scope mount, and an OD Spectre buckle loop for one point sling (the part that connects to the rifle), a whole bunch of OD and Black miad back straps, and a standard charging handle latch.
I'm kind of a new guy but love this idea. I can only ship on Thursday's, or possibly Saturdays but don't count on me getting up early just for that.
If that Troy sling is still around I would simply love it, if it didn't work for me(I'm real short) I would put it right back on this board. I'll message you about it.

This is a great idea. I would like to try out the uncle mikes 3pt. sling. Have been wanting to, but didn't want to put out the extra $ to see if I liked it. I fI don't I'll throw it back up here.

IN the spirit of this thread, it isnt the shear value of what goes up on this board. I have seen this before, guys need simple things, like hand gaurds, flash hiders, slings, etc..... And in todays economy anything helps!
So keep em coming! I have some more stuff too, but wanna make sure we get this other stuff sent out first!

I have an LMT Flash Suppressor that came off of an LMT 16in Upper. Had to replace it with a brake as it is too dangerous to have in MA. PM me as I have not had much time to skulk around on the internet lately.

Going through my drawer and found a "Lula" magazine loader/unloader marked for a Colt 9mm - I believe it may work for the 9mm AR mags, as the guy I got it from had one. Not sure though. Free to a good home.

I have an ambidextrous AR receiver end plate for slings with HK style hooks if anyone needs it. Only one previous stake mark in it. I just took it off my rifle this morning to change to QD mounts. No name on it and I don't recall the brand.

speaking of pearce grips i had some on a G26 and when i sold the Glock the original factor base plates where in storage so if someone needs factory G26 base plates i think i have 2 :D

Found an owner's manual for the Colt Sporter. Sold the rifle, still have the manual. Brand new condition. Free if anybody wants/needs one.
Thought: Maybe this thread needs to become it's own forum, given the size to which it has grown lately. What do ya'll think about a "Pay It Forward" forum in addition to the Member Sales forum? This way, we could post things that we want to give away. I would also suggest that this forum have it's own rules...ie, you must post an item to get an item, etc. What are your thoughts?
It seems to me that the idea that you have to put something up of equal value would not be in the spirit of a pay it forward theme. Some people might not have extra stuff of the same value, or in my case thought it ridiculous to spend 5$ S/H on a .75 cent screw. I personally have no problem with giving something up that is collecting dust to someone who needs it. Giving has it's own reward, all you can hope for is that some day the person you helped will be in a position to help someone else, and will. That is what pay it forward means to me anyway.
Yes there will be people who will always abuse the generosity of others. If you feel someone is doing this you can always just say no, you've gotten enough. What do you think Jostha2007? what was your intention?
I think starting a forum on this is a great idea.
That said I have 3 FDE Ergo 5 rail covers. I put them on and took them off my rail the same day as they were too short for my needs. If someone needs them let me know. I don't require you put something up, just that you won't sell them and/or will pass them or something else along if you no longer need it. gone to baghdad

Pay If Forward has worked on another forum I've been to. I've given up some items of value.. and I've gotten some items of value. It's optional to ask for shipping costs if you feel the item is heavy. Screws won't cost $5 to ship.. I've seen some small items shipped for $1.75 (at least that's what it said on the postage).
Well I'll try to see if I have anything in my closet that I can give out here. :)

I think it's all good as long as people aren't hogging up everything that comes up.
I saw a PIF thread go terribly wrong on another board since 2 members who pretty much run online gun stuff garage sales were grabbing everything.
The 2 of them were like PacMan running through the thread.
That pretty much led to name calling, bashing, and the demise of the thread.
If you are asking for multiple items you really should find something to offer up that others may need.
The participants of the thread should set the guidelines, and good manners should govern their behavior. It shouldn't be a thread that the Mods have to intervene in.
Maybe we should also have a requirement that you post what you want in the thread as well as PM the person you want it from. That way it's easier to see if there is someone abusing it.
Agreed on that point about sharing.. not giving everything to 1 person.. maybe couple of items but that depends on what it is. Also post I want it on the forum as well as PM sounds good to me. What's there to hide?

Agreed, lets get the Mods thoughts onthis, maybe they can put an official rules list. PM and no one can resell of course this will be on the honor system.
definitely agree about no resale. That isn't fair for people who really can use it. Though it would be hard to enforce.

I think you all have a good thing going here and I also believe that some of the rules generated by you all are well and good. Posting that you want it and then PM that person is a good idea to prevent abuse. If you take something give something back no matter how small it is someone might be looking for it.
Taking multiple items is okay if you give back multiple items as well. That way the well doesn't dry up and people are left high and dry. Just my thoughts on this one..
I've got a low profile MI gas block to give away if anyone wants it.
I've got 2 or 3 OD green magpuls I don't use.
I've got a few 10 round 92fs mags I don't want and a few 10 round G23/32 mags I don't use.
I think I have a few KAC knockoff promag type rail covers with the plastic tabs- one tab on one is broken.
I hate to ask, but I'd appreciate a few bucks for shipping these mags and parts as I'm sure someone will want them and there's nothing I've seen so far that I could use, sorry...
ETA: I also have a delta ring, spring and c-clip. Also have an old plastic CAR stock that's commercial sized. And if anyone is really interested in the mags and they are in a communist state, let me know and I'll check on exact numbers.
ETA: Matthew Hazard will be the recipient of the magpuls and G22 mag.
ETA: chg380 is getting the other Glock mags- turned out to be two Scherer 13 round 23/32 mags and the MI gas block.
ETA: Ryo will be receiving 2x10 round factory Beretta 92fs mags and one 15 round aftermarket 92fs magazine.

It seems to me that the idea that you have to put something up of equal value would not be in the spirit of a pay it forward theme. Some people might not have extra stuff of the same value, or in my case thought it ridiculous to spend 5$ S/H on a .75 cent screw. I personally have no problem with giving something up that is collecting dust to someone who needs it. Giving has it's own reward, all you can hope for is that some day the person you helped will be in a position to help someone else, and will. That is what pay it forward means to me anyway.
Yes there will be people who will always abuse the generosity of others. If you feel someone is doing this you can always just say no, you've gotten enough. What do you think Jostha2007? what was your intention?
I think starting a forum on this is a great idea.
That said I have 3 FDE Ergo 5 rail covers. I put them on and took them off my rail the same day as they were too short for my needs. If someone needs them let me know. I don't require you put something up, just that you won't sell them and/or will pass them or something else along if you no longer need it.

Hey guys I have a 32" Wilderness Tactical Instructor Belt and a 52" one, used, If that will fit anyone.
I could use a 38" if someone has one to give up.
I could use a P228/229 good IWB holster and mag holders. A _good_ holster.
Don't have a belt either, I'll probably need a 34" (since I wear a 32").
also need 10rnd P228/229 mags.
up for trade: 18rnds SA .308, 3rnds wolf .308, one HP .308 of unknown weight, 16rnds aged .45acp. some leftover from WW2 but in still fireable condition.

the eggplates are gone, so is the buffer tube, as are the safeties, and the yhm adapter, and I found an A2 hider. that cleans me out of spares for the moment.

I could use any AR parts you might have laying around (no part too small). I'm trying to get a build started for my son-in-law for his first firearm, but we're jobless up here in Michigan.:( So far I have a rifle length gas tube, a pair of nam era handguards, firing pin retaining key, and a delta ring. Anything else gets him that much closer to nirvana!

the kind with the plastic clips at each end. Its not a vickers or anything but it would do for a project maybe. Its not ever really been used. Just PM me, I might not be able to send it out for a week or so cause I'm out of state and its at home. I could use any receiver extensions/cheap butt-stocks/or CAR buffers someone's got laying around. I got a build Im kind of stuck on and any little parts help. Hey guys new member here. This is a really great idea. Looking for a lower receiver rear end plate and castle nut. Doesn't need to be one of those fancy sling attachment ones... Mine is badly rusted and is about to fall apart.
Not much to trade... AR wise but I do have a car charger for a BB/ mini usb type phone.... :D

Looking for a M4 carry handle assembly and a retractable stock with tube, took a header on some ice and rolled down a few concrete steps. My Bushy took some damage breaking the stock and bending the tube and the carry handle got banged up pretty good. Not sure what would make good trade but I'M open to all suggestions if someone has the extra parts.
I can take the M-4 Retractable stock off the list as member nfranco was kind enough to supply one and also Heartland Hawk was able to send a long an A-2 flash hider.
The only things I need to rebuild me battered Bushy is a Mil-Spec tube and a M-4 carry handle assembly.

Thanks to the member who sent the tube but it will not thread into my receiver as you had suspected, the tube maybe out of spec but as you said it was worth a try.

I think a few of you folks are getting away from the spirit of this thread. This isn't meant to be a trade or items needed forum.

2 CAA collapsing stocks with commercial receiver tubes--GONE
Several carbine hand guards, may be M4, not sure
1 old aluminum collapsable stock without any tube.--GONE
They are free, just cover the postage. Let me know if you an use any of them.
I will take the aluminum stock and at least one of the caa stocks as well, send me your address for postage, if you dont mind I can use both caa stocks as well as the aluminum stock
ETA: I have two unknown make vfg's, they are pretty big, one is black, one is fde, both are the same other than that, they have an internal storage compartment, and cutouts for pressure pads, I think I have an a1 stock body as well, if you can covering the postage that is great, but not necessary.
I could use one of the CAA stocks and tubes
