View Full Version : What type of Colt is this?

An acquaintance of mine is looking at a bunch of older Colts at his LGS that came from the department of corrections. There's about 20 and they're all set up exactly the same. Sorry no pictures, just a description.

"They are all set up the same way - 20 inch heavy barrels, no flash hider, long round handguards, bayo lug, and collapsible stock"

At first I thought the Match Target because of the Hbar but then they have bayonet lugs and Match Targets don't.

Sounds like a special order for a prison during the ban years, no evil flash hider but bayonet lug for riot use and collapsible stock for?

He got back to me. Called to have one put aside and asked what it was. Match Target 223.
