Any value to these? I've got 2 of them sitting around that I don't use.

AFAIK they aren't any more valuable than 20-rounders. I have two myself from the Sporter Lightweight I got in 1991 and the one good use they have is for the first two rounds of rapid fire in highpower competition. I can't accidentally load them with 8 rounds.

You could either keep them for hunting, if you're in a state that only lets you have 5 rounds, or drill out the rivets in the floorplate, get out whatever is blocking the follower, and reassemble for an extra couple of 20-rounders.

I have 2 of them myself that I have absolutely no use for.

They would be useful to Hunters in states that have a 5 rd maximum rifle capacity

You will see people asking to buy them from time to time. Check the wtb adds if you want to sell them or put them up for sale.

Interesting. When I bought my SP1 in 1973, it came with a 5 round mag. But it was actually just a 20 round with a blocking device in the mag. I removed the floor plate, removed the block, and I had a 20 round mag. Are these new 5 round mags designed from the ground up as a 5 round?

Thats why I'd be interested in one.

No idea...haven't taken them apart. I think they're just 20 rounders with a block in them. I got them when I purchased my Sporter HBAR. I'd be happy to part with them if anybody needs them.

I'm in California, and a couple more low-capacity magazines would be handy. (I've only got two 10-round magazines for my "off-list-lower.")

If you're willing to send them, then I'll happily pay for shipping... Please PM me.

I'd be interested in a 5 rd mag if anybody wants to get rid of one.

$25 is kinda steep.

C Product's $12 is a better deal.

Since you asked for them first, PM sent.
