Im trying to figure out around what serial number range smith and wesson starting using M4 feedramps. So if you have one with M4 ramps please post the first 3 numbers of your SN.

I believe I have one at work. If I get time I will check it tomorrow and let you know. Or maybe Grant will chime in here with some information on this before I can get back to it.

I've got one on layaway and im trying to figure out whether it has M4 feedramps or not. Should have looked before a made the down payment.

You sound worried. Go buy yourself pmags and you will never have to worry about feeding problems....ever. I have a smith with 1000 trouble free rounds down the pipe with no m4 ramps. M4 ramps are essential if you are using old beat up GI mags. But somehow I doubt you will be. Like I said...PMAGS!!!:D

Alright I emailed S&W directly and they said that it should have M4 feed ramps since it was manufactured in May '08

I have an early model. Sn# 096xx. Hard to tell for me...

mine is serial #812-- and does have m4 ramps, also functions great. [ i would say flawless, but rob. s might this]

swat dawg, those are standard rifle ramps. M4 ramps extend into the upper reciever. I have the rifle ramps in mine as well and it functions flawlessly so no worries.

No worries here, this rifle has been flawless from day one. I havent had any of the issues that ive read others have had... even the p-mag deal, mine loves em.
