Self-debating upgrading my CZ P07s. No doubt the CGW kit will make the DA lighter, but want to hear peoples' thoughts about slide velocity.

I know by lessening the hammer spring, slide velocity goes up. (I would not go below the 15 LB spring, and stock is 20). While I'm not that afraid of battering, because the P07 is pretty robust and no one has reported problems with lighter springs, I would presumably be able to use LIGHTER recoil springs with a stock gun, and perhaps get better follow up shots with this setup. I would be reluctant to run a lighter mainspring AND recoil spring, which further increases slide velocity. I know others here have plenty of experience in this here, and would like to here from their experience.

Thanks.

Lighter hammer spring and lighter recoil spring is not a problem.

You really just have to decide what ammo your going to shoot.

My shadow uses a 13lb hammer spring and a 11lb recoil spring but it only gets shot with 147 standard loads.
