POF 308 Magazine question

Im wondering if the GEN2 Armalite Mags will work with the POF308?
Anyone have an Idea?

I see that the POF 308 Accepts DPMS, Knights Armament, and Original AR10 Waffle Mags.

Short answer- no.


Longer answer- still no. The original AR-10 waffle mags, KAC/DPMS mags are different than the new AR-10 mags (based on a modified M-14 magazine).


From what I see, they are both running around $30 (well, the DPMS and Armalite- KAC mags are down to 75-80$) each. Maybe a little less if you buy in bulk.


It seems a lot of manufacturers are jumping on the KAC/DPMS bandwagon (POF, Fulton CMMG,) and one has gone its own route (RRA using the FAL mags)

Hopefully these 308's catch on more so the price for mags could come down some!

Magpul Pmag LR20. This mag can be used with the POF 308 and its $20.00. Much cheaper than the alternatives. The downside is these are brand new, and not on the market quite yet, and as you can imagine people have already lined up to get them. Good Luck!

POF-USA is accepting pre orders for 25 round Knight's/ DPMS compatible mags at $68 each.

Brownell's is accepting pre orders for the 20 round Magpul 7.62 magazines. Retail is under $20, and they are not listed on the website. I called with the product number to order ( 100-004-161 ).

I have no connection to POF-USA, Brownell's or Magpul.
