In gun control heaven, Chicago no less. The irony. Obviously he'll double down on the stupid and call for stricter gun control, but those with a brain will appreciate the irony of it all. I'd have expected the AG to have some security around.

We need more of this.
Politicians suffering the consequences of the environment they help create.

10 to 1 says mugger wasn't a paunchy middle aged white dude in a MAGA hat or multicam pants with an AR15.

That guy was probably at work that day, despite what the home security commercials would have you believe
:)

Problem there is, Politicians don't learn from their mistakes, and will double down on them once exposed. He'll use that story (hell, maybe set it up?!) as support for the need for more gun control.

Exactly. Since the umpteen gun laws in Chicago didn't prevent this robbery they will obviously need more.

The only thing that would make this better is if the perp was a member of a protected class.

Here's to hoping he took the entire contents of the wallet and now have his home address...
Once you advocate that you want to disarm the people you seek to represent then you truly do deserve to be robbed at gun point and cuckolded like this. Someone needs to rub his face in it...

Metaphorically speaking of course.

A simple point that has always driven me nuts. Every home invasion is perpetrated by my insurance agent, if you're to believe security system commercials.

This. The only thing that might make one of these clowns change their mind is if someone tried to rob them with a knife and a citizen (not bodyguard) with a CCW stepped in. Even then it probably wouldn’t matter.

He’s still going to get elected. He’s still going to push for more gun control.

Why were suspect descriptions omitted from the news articles?

That’s a rhetorical question right?

Why were suspect descriptions omitted from the news articles?

Forgot your /irony and /sarcasm tags.

Robbers were most likely part of this guy's intended voting base.

Why were suspect descriptions omitted from the news articles?

I'm certain they were middle aged white christian males, and the MSM doesn't want to paint them all with the same brush, so to speak...

Getting robbed @ gunpoint in Chicago isn't even the biggest irony in this whole debacle.

It's the fact that this dude is Democrat and got robbed @ gunpoint by the very people he's pandering for votes from (young, poor/uneducated black people).

Sympathy. He’ll find it in the dictionary between syphilis and sycamore.
