Eotech clones

how can you spot a clone from the real thing?
SNs? marking i dunno?

with all these clones running around and even showing L3 Eotech on the side how do i know what to look for?

check the reticle, i know the clone have two different color reticle.. red and green...
it also run on AAA batteries from some of the untis I have seen....
The muzzle side signature is another dead give away
look at the rear panel, the manufacture quality is very crude
also the adjustment clicks are almost non-existant.

one other thing is to check for the manufacture sticker underneath the unit like this one...

Do yourself a favor and head on over to a gun shop that you know sells the real deal L3 products.

Pick one up and turn it on. Memorize what the reticle looks like. Its somewhat pixelated.

The clones work off of LED technology so the reticles are solid, no pixels anywhere. You will be able to immediately spot a fakotech the second you see the reticle if you take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the authentic holographic powered reticle.
