Up for sale is a HK417 chest rig. You can run 7.62 down to 5.56 mags with the 417, plus 4 pistol mags, iflak, comms (radio), GPS, compass and smoke and flash of that’s part of your load out. I found that the 417 is pretty flexible in terms of varying load outs. For example, in place where the 7.62 mags are placed, you can run six 5.56 mags plus an additional 3 in the pockets in the front. If you don’t have a PRC-148/152 then that space can be used as a utility/GP pouch area, or extra trauma items. Rig can be adjusted horizontally and vertically to accommodate all PC’s.
But the sweet spot is that it can be a dedicated 7.62 rig or you can mix it from from a battle rifle to carbine.
