Thanks! Try to keep it simple. I have to fight the urge to add something. :)

Vertical grip is unnecessary, just hold the magwell.

While a vertical grip may be unnecessary for one's preferred configuration (or lack thereof), holding the magwell does not provide the same leverage or balance.

Nice and simple rifles. A vert. grip will absolutely help in the control area. I resisted using one for years but recently purchased a tango down grip and used it on a D.D. omega rail. After using it at ESI's special ops class I can definetly say it made a world of difference, not to mention the storage and space for a pressure switch. Give one a try and let us know how it works out. And, welcome to the site brother!

Nice looking rifles, you did it right the first time around!

One thing though, but in that lighting those rail covers look lime green!

They were black, a friend experimented with Duracoat. They were supposed to be Magpul FDE, he ordered that color for me. For some reason its a cross between seafoam green and FDE:confused:. Waiting on a set of KAC FDEs and those will go in the spare parts/rainy day bin.

Welcome aboard. Nice rifle. It would look good with the Magpul XTM rail covers.;)
