View Full Version : .223 Wylde, which BCG?
I was looking at an Aero Precision upper on Brownell's site. It does not include the BCG or CH. When I look up BCGs on their site the choices are .223 and 5.56NATO but nothing for .223 Wylde. What is the correct BCG for that upper?
5.56 Nato from those choices.

There is no such thing as a .223 wylde bolt carrier group nor 5.56 or .223 for that matter. How long have you owned ARs?

Im beginning to wonder if half the members even own ARs.
If I were a newbie researching the advertising copy about ARs and parts, I'd be confused too.

How are you here for over 3 years and 166 posts and dont even know what bolt carrier group fits in an regular AR?
I'm not sure if it's my opioid induced hallucinations or my medical mary jane. .223 Wylde is a chamber designation and has nothing to do with the BCG. I'm also not familiar with a .223 or 5.56 BCG. They are generally almost always 100% interchangeable.
