Aimpoint T2 question

So I just picked up a T2 off of the EE, and the dot isn't appearing till I hit 7 on the intensity setting. I'm assuming that this isn't normal. Should I contact the seller and get my money back? Or should I contact aimpoint and see if they can take care of me?

It depends on what sort of background you're looking at. A bright background may not allow you to see the dot until you hit 7. Try it in a dark room and see what results you get.

That helped. In a bright room there was no hint of the dot until 7, so it threw me off. Thanks

No problem. I believe it takes me until about a 7 as well before I can really pick up the dot in daylight brightness.

Don't forget the first four clicks are for use with night vision so you will not see them with the naked eye.
