Anyone hear any rumors about this?

I thought I remembered Grant (or someone else “in the know”) hinting that it was coming but haven’t seen anything yet.

Because the market for it would be microscopic?

I really hope so. I'd love a M&P 2.0 in 10mm. I've ended up buying extra glocks in 10mm due to the lack of it.

I'd also love them to do another run of 610 revolvers. I love mine.

This. It's a very niche setup that sounds cool but the returns are diminishing.

It would be interesting for sure. I'd rather they still made M&P 357 (especially 2.0)

Since we’re talking about 357 in a 10mm thread, why not 9x25?

Only semi-related I know, but I've wondered what it would take to get a 38 super M&P running.

Once you have a .45 size platform, seems like a comparatively small investment to offer a 10mm. Smaller market but smaller set up costs, too.

While we are fantasizing about alternate M&P calibers, I will see your .38 Super and raise you a 9x23 Winchester.

It's my thread, I can hi-jack it if I want!! ;-)

How about a 7.62x25?

How about a 7.62x25?

I'd be down with that!! The 7.62x25 is an awesome round that has excellent potential for further development and modernization.

The two main things limiting the development of that round is the cartridge overall length and the lack of modern platforms.

BTW Norinco makes a SIG copy in 7.62x25 that is available in Canada.

Yes! That round has always been interesting to me, and I’d like to see more of it.

How about we get a 10mm M&P before we more on to a 7.62x25? Plus 7.62x25 is dead, along with the cheap surplus ammo that use to be available for it.

I got a factory barrel from Midway for under a Benjamin. They are out and currently on backorder with an Est. in-stock of "OVERDUE". With this in mind just why in sam hell doesn't S&W offer it if they are still making the barrels?

To the O/P, I'd be all over a 2.0 10mm. And especially if they made it in the long slide version. :neo:
