Hey guys,

Bought a new buffer tube to replace the one with broken threads - caused it to cant and wobble despite the castle nut being torqued and staked.

Anyway, the new buffer tube came and it has tons of dents all over the on the outside of the tube. I'm not concerned with function and it's not a complaint - I'm just wondering if this is normal?

Edit:

The dents are really small, almost looks like pitting at points. Seemingly cosmetic. I added a photo best I could.

Dents are not normal for a new tube

Run of bad luck?

Is the inside smooth?

I'd contact the company or manufacturer you bought it from and see about getting a replacement. I've never had a new buffer tube arrive with any dents at all.

Yeah it feels smooth, a much more chalky texture than my former LaRue Buffer tube (I emailed em and haven't heard back in 3 weeks, so I bought another).
