View Full Version : Ever hear of LBE Unlimited?
Hey guys,
I used the search function, but no results.
I have a local gunshop that sells LBE Unlimited parts. I've never heard of em, hbu?
http://lbeunlimited.com/about-us/
I’ve used one of their carry handles. Nice machining, nice finish, works well. I’d never heard of them up to that point, and was reluctant to try one since I couldn’t find much info on them. My expectations were exceeded, take that for what it’s worth. Sample size one carry handle...
Gotta love the mirror image photo of the AR pistol on their home page.
I needed a mid length gas tube recently. They say made in the USA, and are nitride black. So far it works as it should. Came with 2 roll pins too.
Every gun shop seems to carry their stuff, they seem generic.
A local shop has a few of their products. I looked at one of their bcg’s, the staking job was weak.

Their address is the UPS Store. Buy with confidence :p
Their on par with Anderson, so take that as you will...

Yep. Looks like a UPS store address. That doesn't necessarily mean that they're not legit. When John Hwang started Rainier Arms, he ran it from his basement and the trunk of his car. Rainier is well known now but it wasn't always that way.
They are bargain basement. Buy once, cry once.
A good gun store near me carry's there stuff, I've bought n used gas tubes and the like. Not BCM but works. Same store carry's BCM, MagPul and few other top names too. I've not ordered from them but a gas tube is done right or not, I have not seen or tried there BCG though.
With all the choices available, why do people take chances on unknown vendors?

*Looks at Zirk’s sig line*

Because 75% of gun owners buy what's in front of them with little to no research at a price point they think they can afford.

75% is probably too low

I think what you say is true. If you think about it the OP was trying to do research. He received some feedback which might allow him to make a more informed decision along with some suggestions that didn't address his question.
It seems to me they are trying to jump into the supplier versus the seller chain - notice no online store.
For most of our uses, there is no harm staying with a brand you are comfortable with, likewise, there is no harm trying something else once and a while.

I think you answered your own question to be fair. Too many good options right now to mess with unknowns.

Agreed, it was just a WAG on my part.
To all those with stark opinions, consider this to be the research. Now, if someone runs across the brand and does the research this thread will show up in the search. Furthermore, at least one reputable shop has this brand on their website, i.e. SOLGW.
Also, it's what my local GS carried. I trust Colt, BCM, SOLGW, Sionics but idk who manufacturers all their small parts or how to differentiate between all the brand names. I would buy from WOA, but I am become assimilated into the hive and would prefer to buy from the aforementioned brands with prior planning -also when IG says no, I listen.
