Justice League comes under the heading of super hero movies that takes itself too seriously for my tastes, yet it works. Yes the plot is the usual, super baddy has to find some things on earth to give him unlimited powers to then be "the ender of worlds" and all that, and some other predictable plot lines. There's also a lot of ground the movie has to cover by introducing new characters and updating the back story of existing characters, as well as develop the story. Yet, as superficial as the movie is forced to be, it does a commendable job of it and is obviously set up for future Justice League adventures and spin offs for the new characters and such. It's no Thor Ragnarok (best super hero movie I can remember) but fun and entertaining and the action, CGI, and a few good lines, makes it worth a watch. B+

Why not? I think Wonder Women should be a bit more buff and curvy given my druthers and all, but I think she does a decent job of it. Ignoring her politics and such...They were even able to make the lamest of all super heroes, the Mothra of super heroes, Aquaman look cool, although his inclusion in this movie made no sense and he didn't do much of anything other than get his ass kicked by the baddie.

Should have been made 10 years ago with Kate Beckinsale or Dita Von Teese. And politics aren't even a concern, Lynda Carter was a DD Democrat but she was still the last Wonder Woman.

They ruined the Flash for me. It was obvious they were trying to hide poor cgi with excess speed force lightning. Absolute shit. Movie was mediocre.

I'd have been ok with Kate Beckisale in her prime. Then again I'd still do naughty, naughty things to her, and that is just because of Underworld. I'm talking thing involving a a pint bottle of Hershey's Chocolate, a whip, and a weed whacker.

I liked Justice League well enough. I did think it was a little better than Ragnarok, but then I've been more of a DC fan than Marvel since I was about 8. I couldn't figure out Aquaman's presence either, but for this movie the character was very well designed, and I've been a Jason Momoa fan since Stargate Atlantis (that's kind of ironic, huh?). Aquaman has his own standalone movie coming up later this year..it will be interesting to see if Momoa can carry a whole movie all by himself. I like Gal Gadot, but I agree that Wonder Woman ought to be a little bigger and a little more buff.

I note all the Amazon extras in the background look more like an Amazon/Wonder Woman than Gal Gadot.

Yeah. Robin Wright was well-cast as Antiope.

Sadly that's Jason's gig anymore.

I've always had an aversion to DC movies. Everyone 90% A GOD!!!! with the rest a "freak of science". Marvel is 95% freaks of science and 5% A GOD!! And the majority of the freaks of science is everyone trying to make another Super Solider.

I usually watch movies as if they are singles and not part of a series etc. As is I'd definitely watch it again. Good movie overall. One thing I noticed, and I may be wrong, but when I watched Batman VS Superman it seemed like the fight between the two was more evenly matched than when they got into it in this movie. Superman made these guys look like a bunch of toddlers fighting the Hulk!

This movie was a vehicle to introduce new characters to the audience, so all the oddballs like Aquaman likely have a stand alone movie coming out and were just thrown into JL to get exposure. Have not seen the movie yet but sounds like it is to terrible.

The intent of introducing new characters for future spin offs was obvious and I believe aqua dude has one coming out, but per OP, it's not a bad movie at all and no one on the thread seems to think otherwise either. It's one of the better super hero movies.
