View Full Version : Weird .22 squeeze bore from Australia back in the day...
This is interesting...
I think it would be cool to see something like that reintroduced. It would be just a barrel replacement and probably not compatible with semi-autos.
However the fact that it uses standard .22LR ammo yet produces projectile of equal weight, better BC and higher velocity is very cool.
Imagine a Ruger American bolt .22 using this. What a cool little varmint gun with cheap ammo that would be.

I'd think that would overpressure the 10/22 action and cause some damage over a short period of time.

Jerking the Trigger did a review on one of these barrels. (http://jerkingthetrigger.com/2018/01/03/review-v-seven-weapon-systems-10-22-20-cal-barrel/)
They mention potential increased reliability with low velocity loads. I wonder if it gives enough back pressure to cycle CCI Quiets.
