G&R LPKs are out of stock and I can't get a response from Grant as to when he will have more. I've heard BCM are also good but they are also out. Any one know of another supplier of quality LPKs??

Colt parts from Brownells.

(I assume from your post that your primary concern is quality, not price)

I looked at Brownell's - their LPK is from DPMS.

You can get Colt OEM parts in the Colt section on their site.

I wouldn't necessarily buy every single LPK component Colt. It'll cost you a fortune.

Daved, I have had good luck with Stag Arms, Armalite and Rock River. You can always add a few Colt or LMT parts.

Check with Grant. High quality LPK at a nice price.

Guys,

You've got to avoid getting the Colt FCG pins(if that's the right acronym,) unless you've got a Colt lower...right?

Different sizes....?

You just have to get the right ones. They have both I believe.

I've bought WOA barrels before and they are excellent quality, I'm sure their LPKs are too.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Still haven't heard from Grant regarding the availabillity of his kits so I decided to go with a CMT kit from Rainier and have Bill Springfield tune the trigger. If I don't like any of the other major parts, I can replace them later.

I bought an RRA LPK with the 2 stage NM trigger from www.ar15sales.com. Good stuff and at a good price.

I bought an LPK last month from Grant that is waiting to get installed onto an SBR'd receiver. From what I can tell, the quality of the parts are excellent. FWIW.

Grant's was my first choice - but he has been out stock. There's no info on his forum as to when they will again be available and he hasn't responded to my email request for that info.

I bought a CMT/Stag which generally looks good - parts seem well machined and finish on external parts is even. The only exception is that the mag catch and selector are a dull parkerized finish (like the hammer) as opposed to the blued finish on the other external parts. Are these two parts typically not blued for some reason???
