Water here and you should too chopping wood and all.
My fellow friends, my wife is pissed because I slaved away for nine hours in the sun chopping wood. I'm hammered. Knocked out a cord.
She's making a chicken. Now mad at me.
Yuengling Traditional Lager here.

Had a Yuengling Lager today too for lunch. My favorite cheap beer.
Three fingers of Talisker 10 y.o. scotch, neat, in about an hour.. on my deck..

Didn’t make it home.. I have to drive by the local brewery and my favorite food truck was at their tasting room. BBQ chicken sandwich and their new Pilsner to wash it down.

Let me just say, this Brew[ski] BURNED me through and through!
My favorite scotch so far. Standard Laphroaig smoke and peat with an added rich oak to round it all out.
Im not really a “scotch” guy - more bourbon and anejo tequila, but I enjoy it when the mood is right.

Nice- the tres generacions (sp?) anejo is my favorite so far( ive tried about 15). Sipping straight with 2 ice cubes imo is the best way as the flavor opens up a bit as the ice melts. Good oak to it if youre into that.
I been into tequila for about a decade now. It's very underrated with the general public. I don't mind whiskey but it seems to me you have to know good brands, private brands and brands that may be small or just less known in the US but still exceptional. I remember buying Yamazaki 12 year old Japanese whiskey when it was $40 a bottle. That was probably around 2009. Today it's almost $100. Then there was Aramut Indian whiskey. Also pretty cheap for what it was. Now priced high..
When I get into tequila the range of flavor and aroma was way beyond what I've ever tried with whiskey/scotch.

I know I am a little late to the party, but I am sipping, okay maybe some gulping, of Master of Mixes Maragritas, with Jose Especial, on the rocks.
It pairs so effin great with a Pike harvested less than a couple hours ago.

If you can get Yamazaki 12 for a hundred bucks, you are a lucky man. I think I paid about 115 for the last bottle sitting on my shelf.

I’m right next door in Christmas City. Some good retailers around here. Eagles rare is the best for the money ive found for bourbon, but probably not the level of the stuff your talking about. Tequila is my liquer of choice, but i enjoy them all.

Sitting in the airport currently with a Jameson Irish coffee. Gonna be a long day...

Current stash. Not pictured, Pappy Van Winkle 23 yo. Ron Zacapa XO. 1963 Chateau Laubade Armagnac. Walker's Blue Label. Louis XIV cognac. Eagle Rare 18 yo. That's all under lock and key...

That's a nice stash right there. I'm a big fan of aged rum in addition to bourbons and whiskey's. I order a few bottles every six months or so. My go to rum are the Ron Centenario 12 year or Kirk and Sweeney 18 year. Usually get a few bottles for the summer so I can sit by the fire smoking my pipe and sippin'.
I gotta look into that Weller, not familiar

I miss Yuengleng- living out West I can’t get any. Quilters Irish Death has become my substitute, as it is at the moment. I also have just picked up a bottle of Russels Reserve Rye that I’m anxious to crack open.
Two of my favorite things about spring.

I almost did not get it. It was one of five bottles set aside by the store manager. One of his employees almost sold it to someone else, 'twas a near thing.

Oh no. Those are very rare indeed. While mine is just a 2016 vintage, it is an investment bottle so it stays in the velvet. I drink the 20 yo. It can be seen in the picture I posted.
Also, I didn't notice my error until you quoted my post. It's Louis XIII, not XIV. Still, it's another investment bottle that doesn't see light of day.
Tonight is special...
So a 2010 Kapcsandy Grand Vin with a Padron Maduro robusto.

Ok, I just noticed the Blanton's bottle. I have purchased probably 15 or so bottles of Blanton's in the last 2 years or so and haven't seen one with sticker on it like that. I now have to know how and where :) Is it a special version or just a sticker the store is putting on it? I get mine from Total Wine(have a connection that works there so I get a heads up when it's in).

Yeah, Yamazaki 12 is great stuff. I have not had it since I was last in Japan. It's pretty damn hard to snag, it pretty much never comes in now days.

Yes. I occasionally want to sip rum. It’s a four or five year old bottle.
So occasionally makes it last pretty long.

I found lately that sipping rum is a fine diversion. A couple of guys I served with a long time ago were the ones to turn me on to Don Q. "Real Puerto Ricans don't touch Bacardi, they drink Don Q!" So Don Q anejo started my journey to sipping rum instead of mixing.
What, no Rebel Yell?
But seriously (and I do have some Rebel Small Batch) if I do not feel like cracking the good stuff (Blantons or the like) I am often found, as I am tonight, with Four Roses Single Barrel or Larceny.
I do lack some of the higher end selections some of you have, but I am relatively new to this and am working on catching up.
