Right now the website is set to allow the purchaser to buy one rail with each lower, the website also does not have the stripped upper showing. The upper should be added shortly, and the possibility of buying extra rails should be fixed once I can get ahold of Monty.

I would to start this by taking a moment to thank Monty, owner and founder of Centurion Arms, for letting us do a group buy on items which have been previously unavailable on the market. I know he is obscenely busy, so it really says a lot that he was willing to do this with us anyway. Here is what we have ended up with...

Centurion Arms stripped lower group buy price is $99. Retail will be $125 for those who don't get in on this in time.

Centurion Arms 13" MLOK Rail group buy price is $152, this is not the standard CA rail, this is the one which is OEM for the Colt 6920R which people have been trying to get as a stand alone rail. Retail will be $190 IIRC. You have to purchase the above lower to get the rail currently and at this price.


In order to buy a rail, you need to be in on the lower group buy. You can buy as many of the Centurion Arms /Colt series 6920R OEM rails you want (they are all 13") if you are buying a lower. However, you can't buy the rail by itself. Before anyone cries about not being able to buy just the rail, I'll be the first to tell you to go pound sand. It was my idea to do the group buy on the Centurion Arms stripped lowers as I knew they were coming out. I wanted this group buy to be something on the exclusive side. While talking with Monty I asked him if we could access the OEM Colt rails as something special for the group buy. Not only did he agree, but he made a great price for it as well. If anyone wants to complain, please make sure you do it here so I can make sure you aren't able to get in on any other group buys we do. Manufacturers don't go out of their way for us just to hear complaints from people, and complaints only encourage them not to do cool stuff with us again.

Make sure you have access to a FFL so you can send a copy of their paperwork to Centurion Arms. There are no sales where you get to bypass a FFL, or anything else illegal. Don't bother trying.

This thread will remain open for the next week or two while Centurion Arms gets things set up on their end. Once it goes live, you will have a few days to contact Centurion Arms, make payment, send your FFL, etc. then the thread is closed and over. I am not personally selling anything. This is done with a board sponsor, and all payments and merchandise flows through them. I get nothing out of this.

I am guessing 1.5-2 weeks before anyone can make purchases, but it isn't carved in stone yet. I don't see it going any earlier, or much later than that. The idea is to let everyone get in on it who is interested, but still keep this as a group buy.

The OEM rail used for the Colt LE6920-R lacks the standard CA rail's QD sling sockets and uses two instead of three bolts for attachment to the barrel nut.

Hey Stick --

Thanks to you and Monty first of all. However, I have a question: are the lowers/rails the same version of what will be released as retail, with just a decent price savings for the group buy?


There is no guarantee that these lowers will be released to the public after the group buy. Depending on how many are purchased, the lower may be changed (font/ logo placement or logo size etc). I have no solid knowledge to say this will most certainly happen... however, I talk with Monty quite a bit and he likes the idea of guys being able to get something kinda collectible like a first run. There may be zero changes as he may be too busy to implement changes, or he might decide the design is too perfect to alter.


The rail is the contract rail for Colt, that isn’t going to change, and will be available later at the higher price. Lowers will be higher priced as I mentioned.

I know that isn’t a solid 100% answer, but I wanted to let you know there is a chance the lower could change to a small degree. Either way, the lowers start at serial number 100, so guys and gals will be getting collectible low numbers either way (in my opinion). Then again, I’m a sucker for low serial numbers, I know other people might not care.

The regular 13" CMR MLOK has QD attachment points, the Colt Trooper model does not. I own the Trooper and it has become my favorite rail. Hell of a deal on that rail, I thought it was a Colt exclusive. Mr. Stickman must have tremendous contacts!

I just ordered mine and as usual am somewhat uneasy as to the shipping address - I sent it to me at my FFL's address and then left them a message on the order form with the FFL.

This has always worked, but I wish more websites had 'FFL Shipping Address' as fields so I'd feel more comfortable. :)

Yeah that’s probably overkill but I’d rather give too much information than not enough. And like Vegas, I wanted to get my lowers/rails order in the system. Since Monty is out until 6/18 the uppers could be later than sooner.

The uppers are up on the site now, but when you add them to the cart, it only allows either the lower and the rail or the lower and the upper, but not both. Is there any way to get this fixed?

I ordered 2 lowers and rails last night then saw the uppers appear today. I haven’t been able to add just the uppers without adding more lowers so guess I’ll sit tight and see if Monty works that out.

Saw this after you posted. My fault, but I emailed my Centurion and explained the situation to my FFL. I got an out of office automated email from CA, but it's not going to be a problem. My FFL will contact them as well.

Same here, Corrie responded to an email within 2 hours on a Saturday. Also, spoke briefly over the phone with the number I found online (FFL site). Didn’t catch the name, but great service.

Gotta Say, Corrie is quite amazing.

My FFL for the past 5-6 years had a heart attack last week.

I had spoken with him a couple weeks ago in prep for this. Sadly, when I tried reaching out to him on Friday, I didn't get any response. It wasn't until his son called me back and let me know that business was on hold for the meantime. Sounds like he's in recovery, but stable at least.

With that, I had to switch FFL's quickly and Corries response by email arrived promptly in the same day with instant results.

Sounds like they have an awesome team at Centurion, very excited to start my 12" pistol build. Plan to SBR this lower within the year after function test.

I'm in the same boat. They charged my card 6/14, but I've received no word from them or my FFL. I'm not panicking; it's possible my guy just took forever to send them an email (he's kind of slow, but for a $15 transfer I won't complain).

Well, if your card was charged, then I'd say your order has been filled. If you created an account with them, you can
log in and check your order's status. I bet a tracking number can be found there if one isn't sent to you.

When I checked mine earlier today, it stated it's still in processing.

I e-mailed Centurion 3 days ago to verify that they had received the FFL from my transferring FFL shop. They responded promptly that they had. That's all the info I was looking for but they took the initiative to give me additional info about the group purchase. The additional info:
