The best I could do with the barrel I had was 3 moa. I’d suggest saving more money for a barrel from a different company.

Better off with one of these for 125$ http://sionicsweaponsystems.com/store2015/16/164-5-chrome-lined-w-low-profile-gas-block.html

The above Sionics barrel is a steal. If you are looking for really cheap PA has a blem BA barrel on sale for $69.99

That deal is obscene. I don't typically have much interest in 1/9 barrels, but that price is smokin.

Annnnnd, I'm done for the rest of the month. One of these on the way also. The other two are destined for gun show rifles, this one is a keeper.

When did BA start using 4140 CMV? These aren't even on their site.

Yeah, those aren't the same barrel. You can zoom in on the ones for sale at PA and see that they are marked differently as well.

Yeah I think it may be a typo on primary arms website. Pretty sure it's 4150, I have never seen a4140 BA barrel but it's possible it was an oem barrel overstock or something

Meant to post it in your Good Deals thread and got busy at work and forgot. That thread has got me a few mean looks from the wife when things show up lol

Duh! I was focused on the CMV and getting ready to explain that 4150V (which I figured BA called it) was the same as 4150CMV; I didn't even notice you were talking 4150 vs. 4140.

I compared the pics on the BA site with what was on the PA and thought they were the same. I hope the 4140 is a typo, but, dang, they did it twice.

I'm planning to sell the rifles I'll be using these on, I doubt someone who buys them from me at a gun show would ever realize any difference.

LOL, it is like women buying shoes. It doesn't matter how much it cost, it only matters how much you save!!

Run away from bear creek, they are the same junk under a different name. anyone who can offer a "full feature ar15" for under $500 needs to be looked at with extreme skepticism.

A month or so ago I made up my mind to convert all my no logo/bargain lowers to lowers with cool logos. For the most part I swapped out parts from one lower to another. That left me with the task of building inexpensive uppers and lowers to sell so I had room in the safe.

I come in at 497.89 minus shipping costs. And that was paying retail.

That is using the BA blem barrels above, blem BCM upper, Noreen Lower, PSA LPK with MOE furniture and Matrix (gasp) rail. I switched from my normal Geissele Gas Block to one made of 4140 from Primary Arms, and sourced the charging handle and RE kit from DSArms. Actually the BCG was the highest priced component, I used Toolcraft's with C158 bolts that I had purchased a while back for 90.00.

These aren't intended to be heavy use rifles, but I think they will be adequate for the average AR owner.

I wonder what Colt has in a 6920?
