Just happened upon this interesting glimpse of Belarusian Army trials , a whole society preparing for war ?
Anyway it's on the firearmblog.com Belarusian Unmanned Aerial Anti-Tank Grenade Launcher, the UAV
anti-tank launcher is probably a glimpse of battlefield future, but watch whole video, very interesting how
their society is militarizing , external forces + proximity = a war culture.

You have to understand their position and history in Eastern Europe. In general, Eastern Europeans don't want war as much as they want to be protectionist of their land and people. With Russia being, well, Russia; Ukraine losing land to Russia and wanting to join the EU; and Poland and Hungary becoming more and more Westernized; most all of the Eastern Slavic countries are either under threat of losing either land (through warfare and aggression) or autonomy, culture, and tradition (through Westernization).

Most of Eastern Europe was, ironically, protected by the USSR. When it dissolved, most all of the military industries remained or withdrew to Russia. This left the Eastern slavic countries with only whatever armament was left under Soviet dissolution. As Russia and the West continues to arm up, it leaves the rest of Eastern Europe being massively outgunned, and this impacts their stability and faith in government massively.

New technology is seen as a modernization and an equalizer, and most of these countries treat it as a godsend for their country and culture.
