View Full Version : MLOK accessories on Giessele Mk1 rail
I don't own any MLOK rails or accessories to experiment with, I'm wondering if anyone here has tried one on an older Geissele rail and would care to report on how it worked out. Yes, I know the interface isn't the same as MLOK is supposed to be flat where the Geissele's are slightly rounded.

I've made MLOK work on a few platforms where it wasn't supposed to, but to be honest, it isn't really MLOK at that point, it is just acting as a Tnut or something similar.

Here is a thorn tail mount on my MK-1. It’s from Arisaka if I can remember right. Believe I ordered the VTAC version.

Yeah, I get it, not really the same animal but if it works well enough... I think I'm going to try it out

A light mount is specifically why I'm asking. I have a Monkey Bar currently and it's real slick but my rifle fell off a table a few weeks ago and had it get cockeyed on me, fixed easily enough though.
