Anyone know if the Beta C-Mag for 5.56/.223 has an actual date of manufacture anywhere on the body of the magazine, or if there is a way to establish if the date of manufacture is prior to 2015?

Look for LEO/MIL only markings are the only thing I can think of.

Have you given any thought to calling Beta? That's what the D.A. is going to do if yours doesn't have a date on it.

Sent BetaCo a note earlier this morning and it sounds like they can provide a date of manufacture based on "both numbers on the drums (right and left)."

Yep - I'll bet a PRE-ban one is worth a MINT in CA or NY, too.

SAFE ACT pretty much squashed the pre ban post ban nonsense. So it doesn’t really matter anymore.

Fwiw folks have just stopped caring about compliance
