Just got my MP 45 last week. With 100 rnds thru thus far, love this weapon. Can any of you suggest holsters. Looking for a good conceal carry and a tactical leg rig.

For M&P45 holsters, we've had good luck with the Custom Carry Concepts IWB "Looper" for M&P's w/o lights, the Raven Concealment Phantom for IWB/OWB concealed belt carry for M&P's w/X300 lights, for tactical use the Safariland 6004 modified with shortened hanger and one leg strap is still the most viable choice.

Thank you for the info. Like the S L 6004. Local dealer has one for me to try out.

I have 2 M&P's a 45 & 45c.

I use a Comptac C.T.A.C, for concealed carry and it fits both guns. Great product!!

I also use a Safariland 6004, but it was hard as hell to find. Good luck on finding a 6004 that fits the M&P 45, if you find one......BUY IT!

Thanks! I've been looking all over for the Safariland 6004. Everybody says they just don't stay in stock more than a day. I'll keep up the search though. Seems to be the choice thus far.

I'm in the process of deciding to buy an M&P 45 so I did a little research on holsters and lights. For concealed carry I like the looks of the Raven Phantom LC. For a light the Insight Procyon looks good. Good luck.

Thanks for the info. It backs up what another MP 45 owner had told me about this holster combo.

I really like the CompTac MTac for CCW (IWB). I have recommended it to a few guys I work with who were looking for a new off-duty holster, and all of them love it as well.

For a duty or Tactical holster, I love the new ALS 6300 series holsters from Safariland. I recently got the 6360 duty holster for my M&P45, and I prefer it greatly over the 6280 that it replaced. The Tactical thigh holster is model #'s 6304, 6305, 6354, and 6355. Here's a link to them on Safarilands website: http://www.safariland.com/product.aspx?pid=6304

I ordered mine the day they were released for the M&P45 w/pistol lights attached directly from Safariland, and I received it in less then two weeks. I was quoted a 21 day production time.

Here is Safarilands "Will Fit" chart (PDF) which show which holster are available for each pistol/weaponlight combo (Go to pg. 5 for the M&P45). They are also available for the M&P45 without a weaponlight: http://www.safariland.com/info/willfit/pistols_dg_lights.pdf

I use a Hume Leather for concealing my M&P 45. It does a great job of concealing a full-size gun. It's extremely comfortable.

It won't take a light though. It isn't the quickest setup either.

(I think this is the right model http://www.donhume.com/Products/ProductsPage.cfm?ProductID=44 )

I really like the 6004 because of its ease of use, but any tactical series holster from Safariland is good to go.
