Hey,

I looked at a few completed lower assemblies today and saw that there were shiny inch-wide areas around where you put the pins into the receiver. I'm guessing it's lubricant used in assembling the lower but even so, shouldn't this be able to come off? For a new, receiver I would figure the flat-black finish would look perfect but the shiny patches made it look sloppy.

Sorry for no pics but is this normal for new guns/lower assemblies?

Thanks

Sounds like lube. Wipe down the lower with a rag and your favorite lube. I bet it goes away.
