Apart from weight, what do you think about having an Aimpoint Pro with Scalarworks Mount over a Trijicon MRO Patrol with Scalarworks Mount? I think weight of Aimpoint Patrol minus standard mount is 7.8 oz. and weight of MRO Patrol without factory mount is 5.1 oz.

Are the price of the lens covers worth the additional $150-$200 to you, over the standard MRO? Get the Aimpoint.

Is the Aimpoint pro really that much $$$ over the MRO? I think I got mine for $375 but that was a few years ago.

I replaced my pro with the standard mro. It does the same thing for roughly the same price but in a smaller and lighter package. 2 years later and no regrets.

How is the battery life on the MRO compared to Aimpoints? I've considered picking up an MRO

How is the battery life on the MRO compared to Aimpoints? I've considered picking up an MRO2years in and still going strong with original battery. Time will tell how long it goes.

Pro vs Pro, I'd go Aimpoint for sure.

And I have a basic MRO as well.

I keep an MRO on my PCC and an Aimpoint PRO on my 5.56 Carbine. I love them both but the MRO is just so lightweight it is my favorite.
