Are the new YHM barrels any good?

I like the look of the diamond fluting, as well as the price. So are the new barrels that YHM offers any good? Any range reports?

I don't know anything about them other than they play to one of my pet peeves. I can't stand it when a manufacturer says that fluting makes a barrel more rigid! It most certainly does not - removing material will not make a barrel more rigid. It is more rigid than if the entire barrel was turned down to a slimmer profile but it is not more rigid than the original profile.

That sort of misinformation really makes me question their barrels.
