Does anybody make a die shim for .40 / 10mm?

You know, like I use for .38 / .357 magnum. You set your dies up for .38, then for .357, you just use the die shim which takes up the space created by the longer case.

RCBS makes this for .38 and also for .44. But the apparently don't for 10 / .40.

Does anybody know someone who does?

I don't think so because not full length resizing auto brass might induce malfunctions.

You don't use the shim with the sizer die for that very reason. You use it with flaring, seating and crimping dies to account for the difference in case length.

you could purchase the Skips Shim kit for 7/8-14 dies. These are generally intended for making precise adjustments to a sizing die without having to move the lock ring, but would work just as well for your intended purposes.

The .10mm case is .142 longer than a .40 S&W case and all the Skip Shims together measure approximately .145.

But if you change bullet weights and the type shape bullets you will still need to change the adjustment on the seating die.

Meaning you would be better off making up dummy loaded rounds for the lengths you are loading and adjust the seating die to the dummy round.

And what happens if you have to change the seating stems, meaning the Skip Shims will only cover a fraction of the adjustment needed.
