My buddy was selling his 4runner. I was looking for a 4x4.

Ok so this is a 07 and in great condition with just over 100k on the odometer. The underside is ...well...it's fine but I'd like to clean it up bit and this being PA, with all 4 seasons and salt, prevent future rust.

Has anyone done something similar. I'd rather not just spray rubberized undercoating on everything and is like to clean some off as well. Funny I've had several Toyotas dating from 2001 to 2010 and never really cared nor did they ever look overly rusty underneath but for some reason im paranoid about rust on their truckshttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180916/745b78ae8896058d0615354a3ccf39ab.jpg

When we lived in the Chicago area, my Dad swore by them.
When I was 16 I did tires and oil changes. We had some vehicles come in that were too rusty to put on a lift. Mid seventies family cars would rust away in four or five years.
