My friend John Harrison recently completed design and manufacture of a new fixed rear sight designed to fill a void in the market place. The sight will fit slides machined for the LPA adjustable rear sight, such as used by Springfield Armory, Para-Ordnance and others.
It features:
Rear notch dimensions sized .135" wide by .125" deep for fast acquisition of sight picture
50 lpi Serrated rear blade to reduce glare
All corners and edges radiused to eliminate abrasion and increase carry comfort
Design allows one-handed manipulation by shooters with proper training
Can be set up for all popular night sight patterns
The sight is available in plain black (HD-002) and with a tritium bar (HD-002-B) and costs $67.05 & $99.95, respectively.

John's HD-001 will fit slides with existing Bomars, and it's available from Brownells or directly from John.
