Nice upper, I have one of them with a CA barrel (same barrel and rail length) and they handle great.
No pin & weld option? I’d buy 2 if they were pinned & welded.

We are considering pinning some SF adaptors onto them.

Shouldn't RARE be ALL CAPS??? ;)

Please do! I’ll def buy that!
What type of rail covers will fit on that handguard? M-Lok?
Yes, mlok.
Grant, can you get the factory to come off of some 6933-EPR uppers by chance?

This. Our agency just traded our 6520’s for 6921 EPR’s so I’d love to swap my 6933 duty gun to a matching EPR configuration.
These are listed as NFA items because they don't have pinned muzzles.
Does this mean you need to submit paperwork for a SBR or can I order and have my local gunsmith pin one on?

One or the other, yes.

Surefire pin and welded options are now available!

I stand corrected. I can see on my monitor now that I didn't see on my phone yesterday.

Thanks for doing that. I have a complete Colt lower with an SBA3 just waiting for it. It will be sort of a mini version of my 6960. Oh, and the messaging system on your website is pretty freaking cool. I wish all vendors/manufacturers had something like that.
So only the open tine Warcomp is an option? I’d be all over this if it were a closed tine Warcomp.

Tks for the feedback. The new website was a lot of effort (thanks to my wife).

Correct. I have been shooting open tine FH's for a long, long time. No issues.

Would a dead air brake make the cut on being long enough? If so, any chance of offering it?
I am in if so.

Wait, you don't like the closed tine versions you have seen which have eroded away?!?!

Seems as if Colt is just trying to get rid of inventory.

They don't make money by having them sit on the shelf.

This is an awesome upper and easily competes with the BCM with the similar features on the price (bcg, rail, brake, etc.). I do want to buy it. However, even a premium upper at $900+shipping (with pinned SureFire) it's really hard price to justify when someone can build a similar upper for $600-700 using retail pricing on similar premium components.

Maybe, but then you still have a no name upper most other people wouldn't trust. Versus this, which will be off the shelf known good.
Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of doing custom builds, and I typically prefer to use Centurion Arms barrels when they are an option. I'm just pointing out the flip side.
