Allman Brothers Band - Blue Sky and Mountain Jam

Derek and the Dominos - Layla

The Who - Won't Get Fooled Again and Baba O'Riley

Tedeschi Trucks Band: "Do I Look Worried" > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6z8Uc-7Z4xg

Hard to say if it's my favorite song of theirs though, I really like quite a few of their songs.

John Mayer: "California Dreamin" > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=18JZKQkZw-M

Never really cared for The Mamas & The Papas version of it, even though it's their song.

Post Malone: "I Fall Apart" > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSjzVIaRISs

I don't like auto tune though.

Bon Iver: "For Emma" > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iBcwOpionFo

Ed Sheeran with John Mayer: "Don't" > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWPGCssnq3E

Keith Urban with John Mayer: "Til Summer Comes Around" > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k_MCLqh851o

I hate modern country though.

Saw him in concert in 1987. Favorite song is "Life of Illusion". Has that "tropical" sound I kinda take to.

Queen- The Show Must Go On
Led Zeppelin- Immigrant Song (Achilles Last Stand is a close second)
Gorillaz- Clint Eastwood
Metallica- One (backed up with the London Symphony Orchestra)
Dave Matthews- American Baby
A Tribe Called Quest- Award Tour (Midnight Marauders is probably one of the best true hip hop albums)
Prince- Purple Rain (though the radio stations usually cut the end way too early)
BobaFlex- Bury Me With My Guns On

Side note: anyone else suspect that Marc Cohn's "Walking In Memphis" is only played from the third verse on over the radio? I swear to God and Sunny Jesus that I always tune in at, "Muriel plays piano...".

I knew I would get that reaction from someone.

Gun forums are full of Metal lovers though, so I really stick out in these threads.

John Mayer is my favorite musician... He needs to stick more to his Continuum and JM Trio style stuff to be more to my liking though.

His 2003 to 2008 touring drummer (J.J. Johnson) is my favorite drummer and I followed him to the Tedeschi Trucks Band.

Grateful Dead-Estimated Prophet from Madison Sq. Gardens; 10/30/80.
Grateful Dead-They Love Each Other from Maples Pavillion; 2/9/73.

I can/will get up and dance just like used to at shows.

Miss you so much Jerry.

If you’ve never really given the Dead a serious look, pull these up on YouTube and check out. The Madison Sq. show, if paying attention, you can see how the crowd danced at shows. Also check out the interplay b/w drummers and just how in tune and happy they were as a group. There was a reason so many musical greats played with the Dead. FANTASTIC musicians extremely well-regarded by their peers. Could go on and on.

Also a great one. I like the Metal on Metal version. I particularly like Boing Boom Tschak too when I'm in the mood for it.

Even though it's the next track on the album and TEE segues into Metal and Metal, I always considered them to be a single track extended version, especially since the keyboard sequence of TEE is continued. Of course Kraftwerk has done this on several albums and maintains a theme, if not exact sequences, from track to track. Just as boing boom tschak is a contination of Music Non Stop.

The Computer World album is exceptionally notable for this trend.
