If I get a LMT lower is it worth getting the 2 stage trigger?

I have the LMT lower with the 2 stage. I am strictly a weekend plinker and I wouldn't be want to give up the 2 stage; it is really a crisp let off with no "mush" trigger. Great for when striving for accuracy.

For serious and routine defensive work a 1 stage would likely be preferred by many "operators".

Yeah, in my opinion the 2stage is best on a precision rifle, the single stage for more 'serious' carbines. The single stage on my LMT is SWEET, it is far better than any of the many BM's and a handful of older civilian Colts I've ever had. Precise shots with my LMT's single stage is up to me and the Aimpoint, the trigger is more than good enough for a practical/tactical carbine. Again, my $0.02, considering inflation it may be less:)
