Leapfrogging on Home Depot, pretty good sale on appliances. My grandson is getting married in December and we took them out and bought them a washer and dryer, saved a grand.

I've never been clear on what affiliation, if any, UCWRG has with Capcom, the developer of the Resident Evil games. I'm pretty sure Capcom owns the "Umbrella Corporation" name and logo, so UCWRG must be paying them royalties or something, I guess?
Are they just fans of the Resident Evil franchise who thought it would be fun to have their business sort of LARP as the small arms development branch of Umbrella Corporation or something or is their some deeper relationship with Capcom here?
I always thought their pistol grip looked interesting, IIRC it was one of the first of the "reduced angle" style grips on the market. I never got around to trying one though.

Well I'm pretty much tapped out, I actually triggered my card's fraud alert this morning and had to verify that yeah, it's just me buying a ton of shit. But I got a bunch of stuff I've been needing.
Sounds similar to me. Hit the daily limit I set up with the bank to make sure I don't go over budget. Picked up a lot of stuff I've been waiting for today to go on sale, so I'm happy.
My wife's "alert" got me! lol. In her defense, as long as all the bills are paid and we're on budget, I generally do whatever I'd like for "stuff". I'm not super needy this year, and largely just wanted a better depth of consumables. That Mk16 rail combo is pretty tempting, but I'll be settling for an ACH and maybe a G2S. 10-8 and Sionics ran the appropriate sales, so I got the things I needed. I just hate passing up some some of the great prices during a buyer's market.

At the end of the day, maybe because I’m petty I won’t be ordering from BCM direct ever again. I will order from their resellers who did have black Friday sales. Which was basically all of them. 10% off would have plenty generous, being as they selll at wholesale prices to distributors 10% wouldn’t have been any skin off thier back. But instead retailers who paid BCM enough for BCM to make profit were able to sell 10% off, but BCM couldn’t themselves?
I own a retail business. I deal with my wholesale venders. I know how this all works. I know when I buy from a distributed of BCM, BCM made less than if I had bought from them 10% off. They sell to thier distributors at least 20% I’d think. Oh well, thier loss, I still made out.
I’m unsure of BCMs business plan. For instance the refusal to make a MCMR for so long was insane, people ended up not buying BCM rails at all and bought from others to get Mlok. I know I bought from geiselle and SMOS instead. That’s 4 rails I didn’t buy from BCM. (Not including the 2 Mlok rails I just bought from geiselle this sale) The lack of 10% off for 3 days which is well with in thier margins baffles me. But hey, not my company to run. What ever they think works for them. Sadly my experience is that businesses that don’t have sales, can’t affors too. I know it’s a tough market, I hope they didn’t spread themselves that thin.

Not excusing BCM, but a wholesaler having sales is not great for their retailers.
I was reading a blog from Midway USA not long ago and Larry said they lost a major retailer for a couple of years by having sales on items from their manufacturing company.
I'm not disagreeing with your main point - buy BCM items from their retailers. The prices are almost always a little better and it's good business for BCM to sell through retailers.

BCM has only ever had one sale that was worth anything. I think it was 2-3 years ago and IIRC, a BCG was added to a complete upper for only $1. They also had a few models with a reduced price, so some people were able to get really good deals. I think it went on for a few weeks too, sadly I wasn't able to spend the money at the time. I do wish they did more, or at least their distributors had more options. Grant, Rainier, Brownells, etc all have BCM stuff, but not nearly the level of what BCM actually offers.

It is a capitalist society. It’s awesome. Part of capitalism and basic economics is prices the market will bare. And on Black Friday that’s not full retail. Awesome thing about capitalism, I didn’t have to buy from them.
I still got my BCM rail. BCM still made a sale. However they made it at a lower profit than selling to me direct 10% off.
Now I understand not screwing your retailers, but that’s easily avoidable. Sell at a discount, but not a discount they can’t compete with. You know something reasonable like 10%. Or sell at a discount wholesale price when you sell at retail discounted. One of the biggest companies I buy from does this. They sell at retail 15% off, at the same time I get another 15% off of my wholesale price. End of the day my margins were the same.
It’s a free capaltist country. Which means companies are free to economically shoot themselves in the foot the way I think BCM did in my business expirience.

I agree. Just yesterday I ordered a bunch of stuff, much of it BCM. G&R didn't have the main item in I wanted in stock, so instead of paying shipping to 7 or 8 different vendors to save 10-15% here and there, I just ordered it all from BCM themselves. EOTech is offering 30% off on HWS. I've been wanting to upgrade the XPS2 on my backup gun for years so I went to the site, saw that the EXPS 3 was $699 and thought it was a joke. Logged in and put it in my cart which brought it down to $524.25 which sounded better. But the email offered a coupon code, so I figured I'd type it in. Boom - $366.97 and free shipping for a brand new, tan EXPS 3-2, straight from the manufacturer. That's ****ing cyber monday.
