I have a few ARs and want to get some spare parts. I have one lower parts kit and one LMT BCG.
I planned on getting two more LPKs and thought about just getting two more bolts without the carrier.
My questions are; is a bolt ok without a new carrier? Do the carriers wear out or wear with the bolt that the need to be replaced together or can I just get bolts and be GTG? Are there any other spare parts that would be needed?

You've been a member since 08 and you haven't seen the myriad of threads covering this? I beg your pardon, but really?

I asked a simple question, you are not obligated to answer, or to be a tool. Thanks

A quality carrier should outlast several bolts, but a quality bolt should not need replacing before barrel does. Years ago I read it was a good idea to replace all the lower parts at around the 10,000 round point, but nowadays especially with mid gas and good parts things seem to be lasting longer.

Bolt is ok without new carrier. I would also consider having extra gas rings, extractor/spring, can pin, firing pin and retaining pin, buffer spring, on top of what you say have

I like the builders kit and spare springs kit. http://sionicsweaponsystems.com/store2015/28-lower-receiver-parts
They also have bolts and other spare parts.

Yup, but I just let Larry Potterfield store all those spare parts until I need them... He's pretty good about it, I must say.

Barring you lose a spring or detent during assembly most things on a LPK are highly unlikely to break. Probably the only things that I would consider a regular wear item out of a LPK is your hammer spring and your safety detent.

Other than that all you need is a spare bolt(you can cannibalize everything that comes on that bolt that you might need like extractor, extractor spring, gas rings ect.), a spare firing pin, firing pin retaining pin and cam pin.

I have a complete spare bolt carrier group for each rifle but also have extra cam pins, firing pin retainers, extractor springs and gas rings in my spares box.

I also have a few lower parts kits on hand but I've never had to rob a part from one of those because of a breakage.

In my own limited experience with both home and factory built guns, whenever I've had a part wear out or break it's always something in the bolt carrier group.

Buffer springs are a good thing to have on hand if you ever take a class or plan on doing any kind of volume shooting.

I keep this kit and a complete bolt, hammer and trigger in a small Plano "tackle box" with my range gear.

You really don't need a Grip lock washer. That's ¢.73 that you don't need to spend.

I just keep an extra lower parts kit myself. I have a spare BCG and also have gas rings and other parts for the BCG but I fully assembled spare BCG as well. My BCG is a nitride one which is fine for a backup.
