I really enjoyed it but this genre gets my blood boiling. I seem to always get too emotionally joined with the rebels. Lol

Netflix just released a new movie, Outlaw King, follows the story about what happens to Robert the Bruce after William Wallace is executed. Supposedly follows the historical account but you'll notice discrepancies between this movie and Braveheart. Overall, it's a really good movie if you have time to watch it. Essentially the clans are fighting amongst themselves in Scotland while England controls all. Then the clans fall in line to fight the English army lead by newly crowned Edward II. Stars Chris Pine as Robert the Bruce.

But is it historically accurate? If not, I'll watch LOR ;)

Just finished it and really enjoyed it, especially the battles and the strategies.

Braveheart was historical in the loosest sense of the word. I wouldn't be surprised if there were discrepancies

I watched this and was very impressed. I thought it was very well done. The battle scenes were intense. The drama was not contrived. The acting was good. Highly recommended.

Thanks for the heads up, looks awesome.

The worse thing about Braveheart his the studio ran over cost and didn't have money to shoot the Battle of Steirling Bridge scene which was a huge part of William Wallace's story. Epic fail.
