on-gun lube storage?

Has anyone come up with a way to keep a small container of lube on the gun? I was thinking of some sort of small container that would either fit in a Vltor/LMT stock or in a forward/pistol grip. To me this would be much more useful than spare batteries.

I would think that someone, somewhere makes a small container the size and shape of a AA battery. If so, you could fill it with lube and put it where a spare battery normally would go in a Magpul MIAD grip or similar. If not, someone should get on that.
