I suspect armed citizens being under represented in these stats, but as always, shear numbers don't give the full picture and effect:

For 2016, that was the statistic for the number of people who died everyday from drinking and drinking. Over 10,000 people a year.

Yet, when some asshole decides to drink and drive and kill someone, it’s not the alcohol “they” blame, it’s the person. But, when a crazy prick shoots up a school and kills 15 kids, blame the gun.

When will apples be compared to apples? Rhetorical as I know that won’t happen.
