I want some additional factory magazines for M9A3; I am looking at PVD 15 round and 17 round Mags. Are 17 round mags as reliable as 15 Beretta Factory magazines?
(I am looking for an answer not based on issued (failed) military magazines or poorly maintained and subsequently abused M9's. :stop:

Anybody know the SKU for the Black Beretta M9A3 Magazine?

Thanks for help.

I have several for my 92. They've been 100% so far. I use them for carry and 2 gun matches so they get dropped.

In addition to the 18s, I have several with the +2 baseplates (giving me 20) that have never given me any problems.

From my experience, Beretta and Mecgar magazines are very reliable and I haven't found any difference in reliability between 15, 17, and 18rd magazines.

I love the factory sand resistant mags, but the Mec-Gar AFC’s are the way to go.

Midway had the factory 17 rounds mags for 20 bucks recently. Not sure if there still on sale. Anyways that’s what came with my 92a1 and they have been trouble free.

Whenever asking oneself if more quality mags are better, the answer is always yes!

I prefer the factory 15 rounders. You can get replacements springs/parts for them. You cannot do that with the factory 17 rounders

Springer Precision makes a great mag extension that provides 22 round capacity with the MecGar 18 round mags. FWIW.
