Wow...

Seller seems to have more than a few seriously rare old Colts, including a 9mm 1911A1 that I'd love to have.

That’s a beautiful 1911.

After four years of active duty and beat to piss 1911A1s,
I was in the NG for four years while going to college before I went back on active duty.

The average issue 1911A1 was a little better than I had in Ranger Bn.

When hand picking from the reserve selection for TAG matches,
Younwould not believe the pristine beautys still available in the early 1990s.

Damn, right before Christmas too . . .

A piece of history for sure.

There is a Walker Colt about to come up for auction here locally, on the 18th I believe. Estimate is 1-1.2 mil. Was in a shoe box.

You forgot the smiley / winks on your post amigo...shooting this gun deserves a quick couple of kicks in the taint with steel toes!!

The collector part of me says, that's really a nice piece but I'd rather buy a new production one to actually shoot.

The last Walker Colt that sold several years ago fetched the highest price of any gun so I'm sure this one will surpass it.

How rare is this? Having the original case and accessories. https://www.gunsamerica.com/digest/colt-walker-sells-for-1-84-million-smashes-records/

I think that is the one I was thinking of . . . though I thought it was from a couple of years ago.

The original box AND accessories along with original matching parts is why that one commanded such a price. Love this history of those Walker Colts.

Grubb reflector sight or Nydar reflex sight.

But with a frame mount, not on the slide.

Have some respect for history you uncouth savage.

Anyone at all familiar with the topic knows attractive young women operatives of the era dual wielded these with frame mounts.

Pretty sure that was a joke. If you even fire that thing ONE TIME, you would cut it's value in half.

What ever.
I already dropped it off to have the grip safety pinned, front slide serrations cut, and the reflector sight frame installed.

Bob the hammer, tune the trigger, throat the chamber and add punisher skulls.

Don't forget to have the smith install a SBA3 stabilizing brace!
